The Patent The JakeBox concept has a Swedish patent approved in December 2003 (app no SE 0203675-4), a PCT (app no WO 2004/052752) with no cited references of relevance, i e no obstructions for worldwide patent applications, which now are submitted. The patent is very strong, since it protects the function and not the specific design, which means that there is no way to circumvent the patent by altering the design or adding features to it. This has been confirmed by several independent patent attorneys. In case of infringements, JakeBox has a contingency fee agreement with two law firms specialized in infringement cases, one American and one Swedish, to avoid high initial costs for law suits.

Our Licensing Offer On the the global market, JakeBox does not intent to compete with established packaging companies. Instead, the strong patent enables us to offer licenses to companies that wish to add JakeBox to their line of products.
